Senior Manager, Demand Generation (12-Month Maternity Cover)

London | Hybrid (3 days in office) | £65,000-£70,000 | Fixed-term contract

The company

Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS business in the media intelligence space. Its platform helps comms and PR professionals find the right journalists, track their coverage and understand their impact. Clients range from leading PR agencies to in-house comms teams at well-known brands. It's a collaborative business that has grown significantly over the last couple of years.

The role

This is a 12-month maternity cover leading an established demand generation function. You'll lead an eight-person team across product marketing, content, web and design.

The foundations are already in place, so you won't be building strategy from scratch. This isn't a role for keeping things ticking over, though. The business wants someone who will step in quickly, keep momentum high and bring fresh ideas and new ways of doing things.

You'll report into the CMO and work closely with the CEO. You'll also partner with Sales to keep improving lead quality and conversion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Reviewing and signing off emails, blogs and other content, and giving constructive feedback to maintain quality and brand consistency
  • Challenging the status quo and bringing new ideas to improve how the team generates demand
  • Working with Sales leadership to monitor lead quality and adjust the approach where needed
  • Reporting regularly to the CEO and C-suite on campaign performance, lead generation and new initiatives

  • A confident content reviewer and editor with a good eye for brand and messaging
  • The ability to turn complex products and jargon into clear messaging that shows real value
  • Comfortable reporting to and presenting to CEO and exec-level stakeholders
  • A collaborative style that is patient and supportive but firm when needed, and confident enough to say what will and won't work
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Experience using Hubspot
  • Available to start in November so there's time for a handover
