Head of Demand Generation

North West | 6-Month Contract | Potential for Long-Term | Day Rate Negotiable

Drive Demand. Build Pipeline. Deliver Commercial Growth.

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Demand Generation to join an ambitious and growing business on an initial 6-month contract, with potential for the engagement to develop into a longer-term opportunity. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for a commercially minded demand generation specialist who knows how to turn marketing activity into measurable pipeline and revenue. You’ll take ownership of the demand generation engine, bringing structure, pace and accountability across the full funnel, from creating demand and capturing in-market prospects through to qualified pipeline and sales handover.

The Opportunity

  • You’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering a scalable demand generation strategy, working closely with Sales, Marketing and senior stakeholders to improve pipeline performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Owning marketing-sourced pipeline and demand generation targets
  • Lead on product launch and business alignment
  • Developing and scaling a full-funnel demand generation strategy
  • Building integrated campaigns across digital, content, email, events, webinars, paid media and ABM
  • Developing effective demand creation and demand capture programmes
  • Strengthening alignment between Marketing and Sales to improve lead quality, conversion and pipeline
  • Using data and insight to understand what is driving qualified pipeline — and what isn’t
  • Developing reporting, attribution and performance measurement
  • Managing channel mix, targeting and campaign performance
  • Understanding target audiences and identifying the most effective levers to engage them
  • Bringing structure, process and repeatability to demand generation
  • Leading, mentoring and developing marketing teams, specialists and agency partners where required
  • Working confidently with senior leadership to set priorities, agree targets and demonstrate commercial impact

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
