Why This Role Matters
As Head of Demand Generation, you will lead the strategy and execution that drives qualified pipeline growth across Hansen's Energy & Utilities business, the largest pillar in the Growth organization where Hansen sells complex, long-cycle solutions. Reporting directly to the EVP Growth & GTM, you will shape and build a high-performing global function focused on winning complex, enterprise-level opportunities within regulated markets.
Leading a team spanning demand generation, account-based marketing, sales development, field marketing, content, customer lifecycle marketing and regional marketing; you will create a connected go-to-market motion that delivers measurable commercial outcomes. Working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations and regional leadership teams, you will ensure marketing's contribution is directly aligned to revenue growth and business performance.
This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a newly formed function, as part of a significant multi-year growth investment, giving you the chance to define strategy, build a team and make a lasting impact on Hansen's growth trajectory.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
