Head of Residential Property – Leading Birmingham Firm
📍 Location: Birmingham
- No Fee Earning involved
- Salary: Top of Market £75k-£100k (DOE)
- Clear Pathway to Director-Level Progression
A highly regarded, forward-thinking law firm in Birmingham — widely recognised within the local and regional legal market — is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Residential Property to lead their well-established conveyancing team.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a respected firm that offers genuine progression to Director level for the right individual.
The Role:
As Head of Residential, you will:

- Lead and manage the residential conveyancing department, overseeing fee earners and support staff
- Play a key role in developing the department’s strategy, client base, and service delivery
- Drive team performance, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Represent the firm in business development, networking, and client relationship management
Requirements:
- ✅ Significant experience in residential property law, ideally 6+ years PQE
- ✅ Strong technical ability across all conveyancing matters
- ✅ Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- ✅ Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills
- ✅ Ambition to progress into Director-level leadership
