Head of Residential Property – Leading Birmingham Firm

📍 Location: Birmingham

  • No Fee Earning involved
  • Salary: Top of Market £75k-£100k (DOE)

A highly regarded, forward-thinking law firm in Birmingham — widely recognised within the local and regional legal market — is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Residential Property to lead their well-established conveyancing team.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a respected firm that offers genuine progression to Director level for the right individual.

  • Lead and manage the residential conveyancing department, overseeing fee earners and support staff
  • Play a key role in developing the department’s strategy, client base, and service delivery
  • Drive team performance, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Represent the firm in business development, networking, and client relationship management

Requirements:

  • ✅ Significant experience in residential property law, ideally 6+ years PQE
  • ✅ Strong technical ability across all conveyancing matters
  • ✅ Previous experience leading or supervising a team
  • ✅ Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills
  • ✅ Ambition to progress into Director-level leadership
