Head of Department – Art (Maternity Leave)
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Head of Department – Art (Maternity Leave) to join our team!
We are delighted that you are considering joining our clever, committed, and kind staff team in our relentless pursuit of the very best outcomes both academic and beyond, for the young people of South London. 11 years into our journey, with 2 Outstanding Ofsted inspections and some excellent outcomes secured, we remain just as committed to our ethos of ‘getting a little bit better every day’ as we were when we first opened. Of everything, we are most proud of the aspirational and resilient young people leaving us who go on to thrive in purposeful and challenging further education.

This is an exciting time to take on leadership of a well-established and successful department. We strongly believe an excellent Art education should be an experience for the many, not the few. We believe all pupils, with the right role models, expectations, and teaching, can learn to love and excel in Art. With these beliefs, we have been successful at building our Art curriculum, GCSE take-up, and extra-curricular offering. This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team.
