Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Greater Manchester for an experienced Head of Litigation Department to join their growing leadership team.

Location: Oldham/Hybrid
Salary: £60,000 – £68,000 per annum DOE
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working Available

Responsibilities as Head of Litigation Department:

  • Lead and manage the Litigation Department, including supervision, mentoring, and development of junior fee earners and support staff
  • Oversee a varied litigation caseload, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Drive business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships to support department growth
  • Assist in shaping department strategy, achieving growth objectives, and meeting performance targets
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management procedures, and firm policies
  • Monitor departmental financial performance, billing, and profitability
