The Role
Lead the delivery of programmes that truly make an impact. As our Head of Deployment, you'll take ownership of large scale, complex, multi year client programmes, guiding them from initial concept through to successful completion. Working at the heart of our organisation, you'll build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing strategic leadership while ensuring every programme delivers measurable value, exceptional service and long term success.
This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity and enjoys turning ambitious plans into tangible results. You'll coordinate diverse internal teams, external partners and suppliers, bringing people together behind a shared objective while balancing commercial performance, delivery excellence and customer expectations. Through proactive planning, effective resource management and strong leadership, you'll ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, creating outcomes that make a lasting difference for both our clients and our business.
This is a hybrid position based at our welcoming offices in Manchester, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver all tower infrastructure and network deployment activities, including site construction, colocation, Build To Suit (BTS) installations, works & studies, DAS deployment, and site replacements, ensuring projects meet technical, operational, and customer requirements
- Internal stakeholders alignment across programmes specifically with Commercial to ensure alignment between customer expectation and programme capacity and CNP to ensure a seamless e2e experience across the operational functions.
- Management of programme level milestones to achieve overall Programme timeline taking effective mitigation actions to ensure programme milestones are achieved
- Leadership and oversight of Cellnex UK Tower adaptation programmes and activity. Managing colocation, modification, Installation Services and reroofing projects, ensuring standardized processes, on‑time execution, and coordination of technical, safety, and operational requirements, including tower reinforcement.
- Active management of resource capacity against forecast and actual demand, execution of delivery resource strategy (FTE, DRC, shared group resource & 3PP) ensuring alignment with budgets
- Jointly with sourcing function, select and manage external partners (SWC etc.) to form part of a cohesive end to end delivery capability.

Experience
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior operations or programme manager with excellent communications skills with a track record of complex mobile network infrastructure delivery.
- The basics of excellent programme management – rigour, control, issues and risk management
- Proven experience leading large teams, including through indirect leadership structures.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen
- Ability to deputise for CTO on an as needed basis
