The Head of Design, Art, and Technology
The Head of Design, Art, and Technology leads the secondary school department. They manage the curriculum for art, design, and tech subjects, support teachers, handle budgets, and keep workshops safe. This role drives creative and technical learning for students.

- Plan and update the school program for art, design, and technology.
- Blend digital tools, engineering tech, and traditional art.
- Ensure lessons meet national or international education standards.
Staff Management
- Guide, support, and train department teachers.
- Observe classes and give helpful feedback.
- Run regular team meetings and plan staff professional growth.
Resource and Safety Management
- Manage the yearly budget for supplies, tools, and tech.
- Maintain workshops, art studios, and computer labs.
- Enforce strict health and safety rules for all practical classes.

Student Assessment
- Monitor student progress and review grade data.
- Set fair grading rules for projects and exams.
- Plan student art shows, tech fairs, and exhibitions.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Technology, or Education.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of teaching design, art, or tech in a secondary school.
- Skills: Strong leadership, safety knowledge, and great communication.
