🏡 Hybrid Working
💰 Excellent Executive Salary + Executive Package
Most senior engineering roles focus on managing projects.
This one gives you the opportunity to shape an entire design function.
We're supporting a growing engineering business looking to appoint an exceptional technical leader to shape the future of its Building Services design capability.
This isn't simply another Head of Design position. It's an opportunity to influence technical direction, develop engineering talent, raise standards and ensure every solution delivered is innovative, practical and commercially successful.
If you've reached the point in your career where making an impact matters more than simply adding another job title to your CV, keep reading.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This isn't a traditional Building Services consultancy.
It's an engineering business that designs, manufactures, installs and supports its own solutions, giving its engineering teams genuine influence across the entire project lifecycle.
Rather than handing designs over for somebody else to deliver, you'll work alongside manufacturing, commercial and operational teams to ensure every solution is technically robust, commercially viable and genuinely buildable.
With more than two decades of sustained growth, a significant presence across the UK and Ireland and continued investment in innovation and modern methods of construction, the business has established itself as a recognised leader in low-carbon engineering and offsite MEP solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
