Job Summary
Ready to build a creative function? Major Players is partnering with a fast-scaling London D2C brand to find a Head of Design who can define its creative vision, raise the standard of work across every touchpoint and build a high-performing team from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity for a design-led creative leader to shape how an ambitious consumer brand looks, feels and communicates as it enters its next phase of growth. You'll have genuine influence, work closely with senior stakeholders and balance big-picture creative direction with hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the creative vision, standards and ways of working across the business.
- Build, lead and develop an in-house creative team from its early stages.
- Art direct integrated campaigns across brand and performance channels, partnering closely with the Growth team.
- Protect and evolve the brand identity, tone of voice and storytelling across every customer touchpoint.
- Oversee end-to-end creative production, from fast, resourceful content to high-end shoots.
- Collaborate with Brand, Growth, Product and Commercial teams while managing external studios, freelancers and production partners.

Skills & Experience
- Currently operating at Head of Design, Head of Creative, Design Director or Associate Design Director level.
- A strong design background, exceptional visual judgement and a portfolio demonstrating elevated creative work.
- Experience within a high-growth D2C, lifestyle, retail or FMCG brand, or an agency working closely with clients in these sectors.
- Comfortable creating scalable creative systems while remaining close to execution.
- Confident directing campaigns and shoots across a range of production levels and budgets.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop designers, with the ambition to build a creative function from a nascent stage.

Permanent, full-time
Salary
£70,000-£80,000, depending on experience
