Head of Developer Services – Indevor Water
Location: Birchwood, Warrington | Nationwide Travel
Indevor Water is entering an exciting period of growth, and we’re looking to appoint a Head of Developer Services to play a pivotal role in building and developing our Developer Services function.
This is a senior, commercially focused opportunity for someone with strong experience within water, wastewater and Developer Services who wants to move beyond a traditional water company environment and have a genuine influence on the growth of an ambitious business.
About Indevor Water
Indevor Water operates under an Ofwat-granted licence and provides an alternative approach to traditional sewer adoption through its innovative Auto-Adoption model.
Our ambition is significant: to rapidly expand our portfolio of adopted sewer networks and build a nationwide Developer Services capability, working with leading housebuilders and developers across the UK.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Indevor Group Board of Directors, you will become one of the leading ambassadors for Indevor Water.
- Build strategic relationships with Regional Technical Directors, Managing Directors and senior housebuilding stakeholders, developing new opportunities and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Initially, this will be a hands-on role where you’ll help shape systems, processes and ways of working. As Indevor Water grows, the position will evolve into building, leading and developing a high-performing nationwide Developer Services team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
