About Indevor Water

Indevor Water represents the realisation of a long-term exciting plan to expand the Indevor Estates Division and become the latest entry into the New Appointments & Variations (NAV) Market as introduced under the regime within the Water Industry Act (1991).

Indevor Water operates under a specially granted licence by Ofwat, recognising the Group’s unique standing and experience in unadopted infrastructure coupled with our proven long-term capital investment fund, 125-year Performance Bond facility and Operations Indemnification Facility. The Indevor Water Auto-Adoption model was shortlisted at the 2026 Water Industry Awards in both the 'Groundbreaker' and 'Asset Management Initiative Of The Year' categories.

Indevor Water is an alternative to the traditional sewer adoption route with Incumbent Water Companies, devised and introduced to address the development industry's longstanding problem of legacy sewer networks remaining unadopted.

Indevor Water has the ambition of being the best and most recognised Water Company in providing outstanding service and value to all Customers whilst enabling them to benefit from an effective, fit-for-purpose Wastewater System.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Indevor Water seeks to capitalise on the Group’s existing industry reputation and standing, to work with housebuilders across the industry to rapidly expand our portfolio of adopted Sewer Networks. Indevor Water is in the process of onboarding experienced, high-profile recruits to aid this expansion.

The Opportunity

To become one of the leading ambassadors of Indevor Water, representing the Company at the highest levels of the Housebuilding Industry, whilst developing strategic relationships with Regional Technical Directors, Managing Directors and Group PLC Board Members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building upon the significant market profile and opportunities already established by Indevor Water, introducing and converting new enquiries, developing a sustainable pipeline of opportunities and long-term client partnerships, playing a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the Company.

The successful candidate will be comfortable adopting a hands-on approach during the early stages of Indevor Water's growth, helping to refine and enhance existing systems, procedures and ways of working, whilst laying the foundations for a nationwide Developer Services function. As the business continues to expand, the role will evolve into building, leading and developing a high-performing team.

They will be responsible for making a significant contribution towards key performance indicators and ambitious growth targets, applying their industry knowledge, technical expertise and professional relationships to support and develop Indevor Water. We are seeking an individual who is looking to become a long-term part of the business and play a defining role in its future growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Indevor Water’s entry into the New Appointments & Variations (NAV) Market by expanding and strengthening Housebuilder relationships.
  • Work closely and in alignment with the Indevor Group Board of Directors and Indevor Water Management Team to deliver the agreed strategy for identifying and developing prospect opportunities.
  • Further develop Indevor Water’s profile and presence within the Housebuilding, Infrastructure, Utilities and Water Industries.
  • Support the internal growth and establishment of Indevor Water, playing a key role in developing the Developer Services Department across various regions of the UK.
  • Work closely and in alignment with the Stakeholder & Licensing Department to progress opportunities.
  • Effectively manage all assigned clients, ensuring continued prompt and professional communication.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Organise and attend nationwide face-to-face meetings with existing and prospective Developers.
  • Secure Developers' commitment in principle for future sites.
  • Issue formal application documentation and supporting information requests following commitment in principle.
  • Pursue and obtain all technical and commercial information required to facilitate application review and pricing.
  • Work with the Commercial and Technical Teams to review applications and prepare Auto-Adoption Quotations.
  • Conduct quotation review meetings with Developers, obtaining meaningful feedback and, ideally, formal instruction.
  • Liaise with the Licensing and Stakeholder Team to assist with processing applications through the Ofwat Application Process.
  • Liaise with the Accounts Team regarding Developer invoicing and the receipt of Auto-Adoption deposit funds.
  • Maintain regular communication with Developers throughout the Auto-Adoption process, ensuring periodic client updates are issued on time with real-time updates from the Operations Team.
  • Support the Operations Team in the delivery of site-specific Asset Management Programmes.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Indevor Group Board, detailing departmental performance and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate internal records, ensuring the CRM and Business Management Systems remain up to date.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the Water and Housebuilding Industries, monitoring competitor activity and reporting significant developments to the Board.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the Water and Housebuilding Industries.
  • Represent Indevor Water at industry events, awards, conferences and client hospitality functions.
