Head of Development Finance

As the Head of Development Finance, based in Manchester, you'll oversee financial strategies to support development projects within the Not For Profit sector. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of the organisation's initiatives.

Description

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis for development projects.
  • Provide expert advice on financial strategies and funding options.
  • Oversee budget management and financial reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Identify and manage financial risks associated with development activities.
  • Support the preparation of business cases for new projects.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to achieve organisational goals.

Profile

A successful Head of Development Finance should have:

  • Strong experience in financial management within the Not For Profit sector.
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial forecasting for large projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
