At Vivobarefoot, we're looking for a Head of Digital on a 12-month fixed term contract to provide maternity cover.
As a Technology leader at Vivobarefoot you will need to be able to hold the whole ecosystem in view customer-facing digital systems, internal business systems, and IT and bring it under one roof. You'll sit at the senior leadership table, drive the innovation a growing business demands, and build a high-performance tech team that pushes past business-as-usual.
This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week at our Nature HQ in Wrington, Bristol

WHERE YOU'LL PLAY
- Set and deliver the vision and strategy for the whole Technology function digital/ecommerce, business systems and IT to accelerate growth
- Own technical architecture decisions for scalability, security and performance, and set the standard for integrations, data and API design
- Build integrated infrastructure for one seamless customer experience across every digital channel
- Own ecommerce platform strategy and delivery including migrating from Magento Cloud to Shopify and bring the vision for Revivo and V-Health to life
- Own and evolve our Business Systems (built around NetSuite ERP), integrated via middleware and APIs such as Boomi
- Cut manual work through automation and AI
- Partner with IT and Development Leads to balance what the whole ecosystem needs
- Run RFPs end-to-end, from requirements through to vendor selection, and own the Tech budget
- Build, inspire and lead a team that performs at its best

You've probably done most of this before. But we're not after a cookie-cutter playbook bring it into Vivo's challenger-brand DNA, with a sharp point of view on “healthy digital” and the appetite to test, learn, and do things differently.
ALL ABOUT YOU
- Hands-on Shopify and Shopify POS expertise — architecture, app ecosystem, performance optimisation
- Proven ecommerce platform migration experience at comparable scale (multi-market, high-transaction)
- Experience architecting omnichannel Shopify tech stacks, including loyalty and CRM/CDP platforms
- Experience with Magento (Adobe Commerce)
- Strong grounding in system architecture, API integrations and data flows across ecommerce and business systems
- Proven track record in digital transformation, with extensive leadership across cross-functional or matrixed businesses
- A strategic, analytical thinker who can influence senior leaders and adapt fast in a changing environment
- Experience with agile teams, CX/UX/UI collaboration, and system/IT infrastructure management
- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP; a degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Boomi or other iPaaS/integration middleware
- A genuine interest in the ethical use of technology and “healthy digital”
- AI implementation and strategy experience
