McBride Sport is currently working with a leading global sports organisation with a passionate, worldwide fan base to find their new Head of Digital.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the digital fan experience for a business with a genuinely global platform, at a moment when digital and content innovation are central to its strategy. Our client wants someone who can help turn attention into action. They have the platform, the stories, and the fans; the challenge now is building a joined-up digital fan ecosystem that gets people to do more than simply follow along. You'll own the digital fan journey end-to-end; website, app, social channels and emerging platforms combining creativity, technology, content and data to grow the audience, understand it better, and convert engagement into meaningful action.

The Role

  • Own website development, optimisation and day-to-day evolution, managing external development and technology partners
  • Build strong connections across the website, app and wider digital ecosystem, using data and testing to improve conversion at every stage
  • Develop the club/fan membership proposition, competitions and fan engagement programmes tied to major campaigns and initiatives
  • Shape social strategy across key event periods and off-site activations, with a clear focus on outcomes over follower counts
  • Develop the influencer strategy and identify new ways of reaching relevant audiences
  • Partner with Commercial and Partnerships teams to bring sponsor activations to life digitally, delivering key digital rights and assets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
