Head of Digital – B2B SaaS
UK | Hybrid | Full-time
£100,000–£120,000 + package
Sanderson King is partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS business operating across the UK and various global markets to appoint a Head of Digital.
This is a senior digital leadership role with ownership across performance marketing, lifecycle/email, website, ABM and digital optimisation. The successful candidate will lead a team of channel specialists and play a key role in connecting digital strategy and investment directly to pipeline, revenue and customer growth.
Working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success and senior leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and scale the digital function as the business continues its next phase of growth.
The Role
Performance Marketing
- Own paid media strategy across search, social and display, including Google, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Manage channel budgets and allocation, with clear accountability for ROI, CAC and pipeline contribution.
- Develop a full-funnel acquisition strategy across digital channels.
- Build structured testing and experimentation frameworks to continually improve conversion and performance.
- Manage and challenge external agencies and specialist partners.
Lifecycle & Email
- Own lifecycle and nurture programmes across the customer journey, from lead acquisition and conversion through to retention.
- Drive segmentation, personalisation and marketing automation.
- Partner with Product Marketing on messaging, campaigns and product launches.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success and channel teams to align activity with commercial priorities.

Website & Conversion
- Lead the team responsible for website strategy, performance and roadmap.
- Own UX, SEO/GEO and CRO across the website.
- Build a culture of continuous testing and optimisation across key conversion journeys.
- Ensure the website effectively supports campaigns, product launches and the requirements of different global markets.
Account-Based Marketing
- Build and scale ABM programmes targeting priority accounts and customer segments.
- Partner closely with Sales on target account selection, messaging and engagement.
- Develop clear measurement around ABM engagement, pipeline and revenue impact.
Leadership & Strategy
- Set the overall digital marketing strategy and roadmap in line with company growth objectives.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team of digital specialists.
- Establish clear KPIs, attribution and reporting across the digital function.
- Present performance and insights to senior leadership, connecting marketing activity directly to commercial outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- 8+ years' digital marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Strong experience within a B2B SaaS or technology business.
- Proven ownership of performance marketing, lifecycle/email and website channels.
- Direct experience building or significantly scaling an ABM programme.
- Strong knowledge of digital acquisition, CAC, conversion, attribution and pipeline generation.
- Experience managing substantial digital budgets and external agencies/vendors.
- A track record of building, managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence working with dashboards, attribution and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense/Demandbase and Google Analytics, or comparable martech.
- The ability to combine strategic thinking with a willingness to remain close to execution.
- Experience within a fast-growth SaaS environment, email/productivity technology or marketing to IT and technical buyer personas would be particularly valuable.
