Summary

This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role at Climate Group and shape how technology enables our global mission. Having recently implemented key platforms including HubSpot CRM and website hosting, and ClickUp for project management, we're now focused on embedding these tools, driving adoption, and unlocking their full potential across the organisation. As Head of Digital and Technology, you'll lead that next phase, helping colleagues work smarter, collaborate more effectively, and make better use of data, automation and AI to accelerate climate action.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a clear mandate: build momentum, embed change, and leave a lasting impact. You'll join at a moment when strong foundations are already in place, giving you the opportunity to lead meaningful transformation, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver visible organisation-wide improvements. While the role is initially fixed term, the work ahead will help shape Climate Group's longer-term digital future.

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to those with earlier availability.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance & IT, the Head of Digital and Technology leads Climate Group's technology strategy, digital systems, cyber security, and technology operations across our international organisation. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for setting direction, shaping investment and risk decisions, leading the internal technology function and supplier network, and driving digital transformation, AI adoption, and service performance across the organisation. Managing a small team of two technology and data specialists, you'll work closely with senior leaders, colleagues across all teams, and specialist technology partners to ensure our systems, data and digital tools support organisational priorities and enable global collaboration.

A key focus of the role will be to evolve our technology strategy, and to drive the adoption, optimisation and continuous improvement of recently implemented platforms, particularly HubSpot and ClickUp. You'll help embed consistent ways of working, strengthen reporting and automation, improve user experience, and identify opportunities to use emerging technologies, including AI, to increase efficiency and impact. Alongside this, you'll oversee technology operations, cyber security, supplier management and future digital investment, ensuring Climate Group has the technology foundations needed to deliver its mission at scale.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the next phase of Climate Group's digital transformation by embedding, optimising and driving adoption of key platforms, including HubSpot and ClickUp.
  • Developing and delivering a technology roadmap that supports organisational priorities, operational effectiveness and future growth.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on technology strategy, digital risk, systems investment and innovation opportunities.
  • Owning the performance, governance and continuous improvement of core business systems, collaboration tools and digital infrastructure.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, increase automation, improve data quality and enhance the employee experience through technology.
  • Leading Climate Group's approach to AI adoption, helping teams safely and effectively use approved tools to improve productivity and outcomes.
  • Ensuring our technology environment remains secure, resilient and fit for purpose through strong cyber security, governance and risk management practices.
  • Managing technology suppliers, contracts, budgets and external partnerships to deliver high-quality services and value for money.
  • Building capability across the organisation through training, coaching, communication and practical support that helps colleagues get the most from our technology investments.
  • Leading and developing the technology function, fostering a culture of service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
