Head of Digital Business Engagement
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Regional Office Worker - Site Based & Homeworking + Regular travel to Birmingham
The role is responsible for ensuring that digital strategy, technology investments, transformation initiatives, and service improvements are fully aligned to business priorities and deliver measurable business value. They champion digital adoption, shape demand, and drive value creation by translating business needs into actionable digital roadmaps.
As a senior leader within the Digital Leadership Team, the postholder will develop trusted relationships with Executive and Senior Leadership Teams across the organisation, acting as a strategic advisor and advocate for digital innovation, transformation, and continuous improvement.
The role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, portfolio demand management, business relationship management, benefits realisation, and digital change leadership to ensure technology is a key enabler of organisational success.
This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, digital literacy, and change leadership. It is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution.

This role will also take on the Digital Business Partner role for the Health Division.

Qualifications
Essential
- Significant experience in senior IT, Digital, Business Relationship Management, or Transformation leadership roles.
- Proven experience of operating at Executive and Board level.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, technology strategy, and business change.
- Experience developing business cases, investment plans, and benefits frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience managing complex portfolios and competing priorities.
Desirable
- Experience within employability, health, government, education, or human services sectors.
- Experience with Product Management practices.
- Knowledge of AI, automation, data platforms, and digital innovation frameworks.
- Professional qualifications in Business Analysis, Programme Management, Technology Management, or Change Management.
- Knowledge around ITIL, BRMi, PRINCE2, COBIT desirable.

Additional Information
This role will be subject to the following requirements.
- The company obtaining satisfactory references, covering the last 3 years of employment including gaps.
- The company obtaining a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Certificate in respect of you from Disclosure Scotland/ the Disclosure and Barring Service in England and Wales.
- Your legally entitled to reside and work in the UK.
