About the Role

The Head of Digital Content owns Taxually’s digital content strategy end to end – planning, creating, managing and optimizing content that attracts, engages and converts ICP audiences – while also leading the content function’s role in sales enablement and external visibility, including press, client references and analyst relations. The role combines content strategy, SEO, social media, analytics and campaign management to support brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement and revenue growth, with elevated ownership of cross-functional coordination with Sales and Analyst Relations.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end digital content strategy, aligned with business goals.
  • Create content calendars and editorial plans.
  • Identify audience needs, content gaps and market trends.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across digital channels.

Content Creation & Management

  • Oversee the creation of blog articles, website content, email campaigns, social media posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, videos and webinars.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers and subject matter experts.
  • Maintain content quality, accuracy and brand consistency.

SEO & Organic Growth

  • Conduct keyword research and content optimisation.
  • Implement on-page SEO, SEA and GEO best practices.
  • Monitor search rankings and organic traffic performance.
  • Work with technical SEO, GEO and web teams to improve discoverability.

Social Media & Distribution

  • Manage content distribution across social media channels.
  • Coordinate content promotion campaigns.
  • Optimize content for different platforms and audience segments.
  • Monitor audience engagement and community interactions.

Campaign Management

  • Support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Create content assets for lead generation and customer nurturing.
  • Align content initiatives with product launches and business priorities.

Sales Enablement

  • Prepare sales-ready content and materials that support the sales team in prospect and client conversations.
  • Act as a proactive partner to the sales organisation, responding to ad hoc content needs ahead of key deals or pitches.

Analyst Relations

  • Partner with senior leadership on Taxually’s participation in industry analyst programmes, including the preparation of presentations and supporting content.
  • Contribute to briefing materials and follow-up content arising from analyst interactions.

External Visibility

  • Drive the drafting and placement of press releases, client reference stories and opinion articles that raise Taxually’s external profile.
  • Coordinate with client-facing teams to identify and develop client reference opportunities.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Track and analyse content performance metrics.
  • Generate reports and insights for stakeholders.
  • Use data to improve engagement, traffic and conversion rates.
  • Conduct content audits and optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business or a related field.
  • Typically, 4–8 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing or communications.
  • Experience managing content across multiple digital channels.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, GEO and content optimisation best practices.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with enablement content and/or engaging with industry analysts.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with SEO platforms such as Semrush or Ahrefs.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms.
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using AI-assisted content creation tools.
