Head of Digital Innovation
Location: Ealing / Hybrid (some office attendance required)
Salary: £85,168-£95,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
DBS Level – Basic

We're looking for a Head of Digital Innovation to join our Transformation & Innovation leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Transformation & Innovation, you'll lead the development and delivery of A2Dominion's digital innovation strategy, driving the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, AI and digital products that improve customer experience, operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of A2Dominion's digital innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, customer outcomes and regulatory requirements.
- Drive innovation across the organisation through the identification, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies, including AI, automation and digital platforms.
- Lead and develop a team of digital innovation, research and product professionals.
- Establish governance frameworks and processes that enable innovation whilst ensuring appropriate control and oversight.
- Promote customer-centric and product-led approaches to service design and delivery.
- Oversee research and insight activities to identify customer needs, service trends and opportunities for transformation.
- Collaborate with operational services, IT, Data & BI, Transformation and Service Improvement teams to deliver innovative, integrated solutions.
- Lead horizon scanning activities, bringing external best practice, market trends and emerging technologies into A2Dominion.
- Develop robust business cases and investment proposals that demonstrate measurable benefits and value for money.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and operational efficiency opportunities across services and systems.
- Provide reporting and assurance to Executive teams, Boards, governance forums and leadership stakeholders.
- Act as a deputy to the Director of Transformation & Innovation when required.

More About You
- Experience working within Social Housing/Local Authority, or a similarly sector is highly desirable.
- A qualification in Digital, Innovation, Product Management, Technology or a related field.
- Significant experience leading digital innovation, digital transformation or product functions within a complex organisation.
- Expert knowledge of digital innovation, customer-focused transformation and modern technology-led change.
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, emerging technologies and their practical application to improve services and customer outcomes.
- Experience developing innovation strategies, roadmaps and compelling business cases.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at Executive and senior leadership level.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in innovation, product management or related disciplines.
- Agile and/or Product Management qualifications would be advantageous.
