Head of Performance Marketing & Digital Experience | £80–90k | London
We are recruiting for a Head of Performance Marketing & Digital Experience to join a fast-growing, PE-backed consumer business as it expands its physical footprint across London.
This is a great opportunity for a senior performance marketer who still genuinely enjoys being hands-on.
You’ll report directly to the Marketing Director and take ownership of the digital growth engine – both acquiring customers and improving what happens once they arrive on the website.
The remit is broadly split across:
- Performance Marketing – hands-on ownership of Google, Meta and wider paid acquisition
- CRO & Digital Experience – improving customer journeys, landing pages and conversion
- Analytics & Attribution – GA4, GTM, measurement and understanding what is genuinely driving growth
- Website & CMS – taking day-to-day ownership rather than relying on developers for every change
- SEO & GEO – improving traditional organic search alongside emerging AI-search visibility
- Commercial Performance – forecasting, CAC/CPA, ROAS and allocating investment according to the needs of individual locations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
A particularly important part of the role will be developing a repeatable acquisition model as new locations open – understanding how performance differs by site and where marketing investment will have the greatest commercial impact.
I'm particularly interested in speaking to people with:
- Strong, recent hands-on Google Ads & Meta Ads experience
- Experience within a multi-site consumer business – ideally leisure, hospitality, fitness, membership or another location-led model
- Strong CRO and digital customer journey experience
- Confidence working directly within a CMS
- GA4/GTM, attribution and strong analytical capability
- SEO experience, with an interest in how search is evolving through AI/GEO
- A commercial mindset – comfortable thinking beyond platform metrics to CAC, LTV, conversion, revenue and profitability

This is a lean environment with no direct reports initially, so it won't suit someone looking purely to manage a large team or sit above agencies.
It will suit someone who wants the seniority and influence of a Head role while remaining close enough to the detail to actually build something.
