What are the Responsibilities of the Head of Digital Transformation?
Working closely with the CIO, executive leaders, clinical teams, and external partners, you will lead a portfolio of strategic transformation programmes, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable benefits across the organisation.

You will help our teams embrace change, optimise processes, and realise the full value of digital innovation.
You will:
- Lead a portfolio of digital and technology-enabled transformation programmes.
- Develop business cases, transformation roadmaps, and delivery plans.
- Drive organisational change, engagement, and user adoption.
- Establish effective programme governance and executive reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to improve services and redesign processes.
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.
- Ensure information governance, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements are embedded in all initiatives.
- Manage supplier relationships and technology procurement activities.
- Track benefits realisation and ensure successful operational handover of new services.
- Coach and support colleagues, helping to build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Am I the right person for the Head of Digital Transformation role?
You are a highly motivated transformation professional with a strong track record of delivering complex business and digital change programmes.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading large-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Experience delivering technology-enabled organisational change.
- Experience managing complex programme portfolios and budgets.
- Experience engaging with senior executives and clinical stakeholders.
- Strong supplier and contract management experience.
- Proven ability to develop compelling business cases and strategic proposals.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience driving adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Experience within healthcare, hospitals, hospices, or regulated environments.
