Head of Workplace Services Portfolio
London or Manchester | Hybrid Working | Circa £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Permanent
Are you an experienced technology services leader with a track record of building, evolving and growing customer-facing service portfolios? We're supporting a leading technology services organisation in the search for a Head of Workplace Services Portfolio. This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for the strategy, growth and ongoing success of a significant workplace services portfolio, helping to shape how services are developed, positioned and delivered to customers.
This is not an internal IT leadership position. Instead, you'll sit at the intersection of sales, service delivery, technology partners and business leadership, ensuring the portfolio remains commercially successful, aligned to market demand and capable of delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
The Opportunity
As the owner of the Workplace Services portfolio, you'll be responsible for defining service strategy, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring the business continues to offer market-leading workplace solutions.
Working closely with sales teams, delivery leaders and technology vendors, you'll help drive revenue growth, influence investment decisions and shape the future direction of services across Modern Workplace, End User Computing, Collaboration and emerging workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the Workplace Services portfolio strategy.
- Ensure services remain competitive, commercially viable and aligned to customer demand.
- Work alongside sales leadership to drive portfolio growth and support revenue targets.
- Own service lifecycle management, including service evolution, investment decisions and portfolio performance.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors and partners.
- Chair service governance forums and provide leadership across key stakeholder groups.
- Identify market opportunities and emerging trends to enhance the portfolio offering.
- Ensure delivery teams are aligned and equipped to successfully execute the portfolio strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning or leading a customer-facing technology services portfolio.
- Background within Managed Services, Technology Services, Consultancy or a service-led organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting business growth and sales initiatives.
- Experience working closely with vendors, technology partners and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop strategic roadmaps and translate them into tangible business outcomes.
- Experience operating at senior leadership level within a complex technology environment.

Desirable Experience
- Workplace Services, Digital Workplace, Modern Workplace or End User Computing portfolios.
- Service portfolio management or service line ownership.
- Managed Service or Professional Service leadership experience.
- Exposure to AI, Collaboration, Digital Employee Experience or ServiceNow-related service offerings.
This role is likely to suit individuals currently operating as a Service Portfolio Lead, Practice Director, Managed Services Leader, Workplace Services Director, Modern Workplace Practice Lead, Portfolio Manager or Technology Services Leader.
Location: Manchester or London
Salary: Circa £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Working Pattern: Hybrid
