Head of Digital Workplace Services

Manchester, Marlow or London | Hybrid Working | Circa £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Permanent

Are you a commercially focused Digital Workplace leader who can combine technology strategy, portfolio management and business growth?

We're supporting a leading technology services organisation in the search for a Head of Digital Workplace Services to take ownership of a significant workplace services portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape strategy, influence investment decisions and drive the growth of a modern workplace proposition spanning End User Computing, Collaboration, AI and Digital Employee Experience solutions.

This position sits at the intersection of technology, sales and service delivery, making it ideal for someone who understands how to build, position and evolve successful managed services while ensuring they remain commercially relevant and customer-focused.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for defining the roadmap and future direction of the Digital Workplace Services portfolio, ensuring services align with market demand, customer requirements and wider business objectives.

Working closely with sales leadership, delivery teams and key technology partners, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer outcomes and shaping the future of workplace services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the Digital Workplace Services strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate and sales objectives.
  • Drive portfolio growth and support sales teams in achieving commercial targets.
  • Own the lifecycle of workplace services, ensuring offerings remain competitive, relevant and profitable.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, delivery, technical and partner teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors and service partners.
  • Champion customer experience and service excellence across the portfolio.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities across End User Computing, Modern Workplace, AI and Collaboration technologies.
  • Provide leadership across governance forums, service councils and strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading Digital Workplace, Modern Workplace, End User Computing or Workplace Services functions.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience working closely alongside sales and customer-facing teams.
  • Experience developing and executing technology or services strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across complex organisations.
  • Experience managing service portfolios, propositions or workplace technology offerings.
  • Ability to align multiple teams around a common strategic vision.

Desirable Experience

  • Managed Services, Technology Services or Consultancy background.
  • Experience with End User Computing, Collaboration technologies, Digital Employee Experience or AI-led workplace solutions.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow and broader workplace automation technologies.
  • Previous experience leading a technology tower, service portfolio, practice or workplace transformation function.

This role would particularly suit candidates currently operating as a Head of Digital Workplace, Modern Workplace Director, Workplace Technology Director, EUC Practice Lead, Service Portfolio Lead or Workplace Services Leader looking for a broader strategic remit.

Location: Manchester, Marlow or London

Salary: Circa £110,000 + Benefits

Working Pattern: Hybrid
