Build the distribution strategy of a brand-new MGA from day one.
RE:NU is a newly established specialist Property MGA launching into the UK market, backed by experienced industry professionals and ambitious growth plans.
We're looking for a commercially-minded Head of Distribution to join our Executive team and help shape how the business grows from the very beginning.
This isn't a traditional Business Development Manager role.
We're not looking for someone whose success is measured solely by the number of broker visits completed each month. We're looking for someone who understands that every pound invested in distribution should deliver a measurable commercial return.
If you've ever wanted the opportunity to build a distribution function rather than inherit one, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Working alongside the Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Underwriting, you'll take ownership of our distribution strategy across the UK broker market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll be expected to:
- Develop and execute the MGA's distribution strategy.
- Build and strengthen relationships with regional and national brokers.
- Analyse the effectiveness of distribution activity and marketing spend.
- Identify profitable growth opportunities across products, territories and broker segments.

We're interested in commercially curious people who enjoy asking "why?"
You'll ideally have:
- Experience developing broker relationships within the UK insurance market.

Why Join RE:NU?
This is an opportunity to become part of the Executive team of a business at launch.
You'll have genuine influence over the direction of the business, working directly with senior leadership to define our growth strategy rather than simply executing somebody else's.
As the business grows, there will be opportunities to participate in future performance-related incentives and longer-term value creation.
If you're excited by building, improving and challenging conventional thinking rather than simply maintaining the status quo, we'd love to hear from you.
