Document Solutions Strategy and Capability

  • Own and evolve FundSense’s document solutions strategy across the full document lifecycle, from ingestion and information extraction to creation, validation, publishing and dissemination.
  • Shape scalable capabilities for factsheets, CCIs, KIDs and KIIDs, prospectuses, supplements, board and client reports, RFPs, business cases and other asset management documents.
  • Define reusable solution patterns that combine workflow automation, governed data, document intelligence and appropriate AI capabilities.
  • Ensure document solutions are grounded in FundSense iD so content remains aligned with approved data, business rules, templates and downstream systems.
  • Identify opportunities to extend FundSense’s document offering through new formats, use cases, integrations and automation approaches.

Solution Design and Operational Governance

  • Lead the design of robust document workflows, controls and operating models that support accuracy, timeliness, version control, auditability and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate complex client document processes into clear requirements, rules, exception paths, approvals, service levels and quality controls.
  • Set standards for document extraction, generation, comparison, verification and publishing, including the handling of text, tables, images and metadata.
  • Oversee quality assurance and exception management across document solutions, using root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to move proven client solutions into reusable, maintainable platform capabilities.

Team Leadership and Mentorship

  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing document solutions capability as FundSense grows.
  • Mentor analysts and solution specialists, establishing high standards for document analysis, requirements, testing, quality and communication.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, knowledge management and team development over time.
  • Act as the senior document solutions subject matter expert across the business.

Client Vendor and External Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, document providers, legal firms, translation partners and other strategic external stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery and solution-design discussions relating to document production, maintenance, validation, governance and distribution.
  • Support proposals, demonstrations and implementations by explaining solution design, controls and operational benefits with credibility.
  • Track regulatory, industry and template developments that affect asset management documents and translate them into practical priorities for FundSense.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, data, engineering, delivery, commercial and leadership teams on strategic initiatives and client priorities.
  • Bridge document, data, operational, regulatory and technical perspectives to ensure end-to-end solutions work in practice.
  • Contribute confidently to internal and external meetings, representing document solution requirements and recommended approaches.
  • Help identify opportunities to connect document capabilities with FundSense’s wider data management, reporting, product lifecycle and digital solutions.

Experience

  • Significant experience in product, solutions or operational roles within an asset manager, wealth manager, bank, asset management technology provider, data vendor, document provider or related industry supplier.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the documents asset managers are required to produce and maintain, including fund factsheets, KIDs and KIIDs, prospectuses, supplements, regulatory reports, client reports and board materials.
  • Strong knowledge of the internal and external data used within these documents, including product, fund, share-class, portfolio, performance, risk, charges, sustainability and regulatory data.
  • Practical understanding of how data is sourced from internal systems and third parties, governed, validated, transformed and distributed across documents, reports and downstream platforms.
  • Experience with the technologies used to create and manage asset management documents, including product and data masters, document-generation platforms, workflow automation, content management, reporting tools, APIs and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrable ability to translate complex operational, regulatory and user requirements into scalable product capabilities and prioritised roadmaps.
