Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Seeking a PR Director level expert to lead the earned influencer strategy for this fully integrated, employee owned, tech B2B PR agency working with innovative global brands and start-ups.

The Role

As Head of Earned, you will lead the vision, people, and performance of the agency's Media & Influencers function — ensuring the work is bold, informed, and exceptional across every facet of earned media: from journalists, analysts, and industry experts to Substack writers, podcast hosts, creators and citations within LLMs.

Responsibilities

  • Set the agency-wide vision for earned media and influence.
  • Advise senior clients on reputation, media strategy and complex issues.
  • Lead major, high-profile and integrated campaigns.
  • Build and strengthen senior media relationships.
  • Lead crisis and issues work when it matters most.
  • Develop and mentor senior PR talent.
  • Shape new approaches to media, influence and storytelling.
  • Play a key role in new business and agency growth.
  • Represent the agency externally as a senior industry voice.
  • Work closely with the board on strategy, people and commercial performance.

As Head of Earned Media, you are a creative and cultural leader — shaping how the agency thinks, works, and grows. You'll inspire others through clarity, conviction, and collaboration, embodying the agency’s values in every decision and relationship.

The package

  • £80,000–£90,000
  • Annual discretionary bonus, exact amount based on company performance (up to £3,600 tax free).
  • Pension contribution of up to 4% when you contribute 5%.
  • 23 days holiday, rising to 25 with service, plus closed between Christmas and NY.
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
  • Work from anywhere for up to two weeks per year.
  • 6 months unpaid sabbatical available after 5 years.
  • Paid volunteer and well being days.
