Job Title: Head of eCommerce | FMCG | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: London, 3 days per week in office
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
Immediate Start
The Role
This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role for an ambitious FMCG business at an inflection point in its digital and eCommerce journey. You'll take ownership of the eCommerce strategy across multiple household-name brands, with a particular focus on scaling a newly launched proposition and integrated social commerce activation.
This isn't a role for someone who wants a settled remit. The business is evolving fast, and you'll need to be comfortable rewriting the plan as priorities shift, one week deep in performance marketing metrics, the next negotiating with a retail media partner, the next coaching your direct report through a launch. If you like structure and certainty, this probably isn't for you. If you thrive on ambiguity and enjoy building the plane while flying it, it will suit you well.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
