Head of eCommerce

£100,000 - £130,000 base + bonus
Central London (3 days onsite)

We’re partnering with an established premium consumer business to appoint a Head of eCommerce to lead its digital trading and eCommerce strategy.

This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for driving digital revenue, improving conversion, and creating a best-in-class online customer experience across eCommerce and marketplace channels.

The successful candidate will own the end-to-end digital trading agenda, combining commercial strategy, onsite optimization, merchandising, CRO, and customer journey improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver the eCommerce and digital trading strategy
  • Drive digital revenue, conversion, AOV, and revenue per visit
  • Lead onsite trading, merchandising, search, navigation, and product discovery
  • Own the customer journey from landing page through to checkout
  • Develop and execute an ongoing CRO and experimentation roadmap
  • Use analytics, CRM, and behavioral insight to identify commercial opportunities
  • Maximize the performance of eCommerce and marketplace channels
  • Translate wider commercial priorities into effective digital trading plans and campaigns
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, and Buying teams
  • Lead and develop a high-performing eCommerce and digital trading team

You’ll be an experienced eCommerce or digital trading leader with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of improving online performance.

You’ll bring strong knowledge of CRO, digital merchandising, onsite customer experience, analytics, and experimentation, alongside experience leading teams and delivering through cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience within premium consumer, luxury, retail, marketplace, or other high-consideration eCommerce environments would be particularly relevant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded eCommerce leader to take ownership of a significant digital channel and shape its next stage of growth.
