The Role
The Head of Ecommerce will lead Club L London's global ecommerce trading function, driving profitable digital growth across all markets and building a high performing, commercially accountable trading team. This role will line manage three Senior Executives and provide leadership across a wider ecommerce team of 10, creating a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
Moving beyond traditional website management, the Head of Ecommerce will operate as a senior commercial leader, setting the ecommerce trading strategy, challenging market performance and ensuring every market has a clear plan to deliver Revenue, Conversion, Margin and profitability.
Working collaboratively across multiple departments, the Head of Ecommerce will translate wider company objectives into clear, actionable digital trading strategies, ensuring opportunities are maximised and risks identified and addressed at pace. The successful candidate will combine strong ecommerce trading expertise with commercial judgement, analytical capability and exceptional leadership, alongside a relentless focus on the customer.

Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Strategy & Commercial Performance
- Own the global ecommerce trading strategy and translate business targets into clear market level plans across Revenue, Conversion, Margin and profitability
- Lead trading performance across markets, identifying opportunities and risks and ensuring insight is quickly converted into commercial action
Market & P&L Leadership
- Lead market owners with clear accountability for performance, ensuring each territory is managed commercially with P&L in mind
- Partner with Finance and wider teams to improve forecasting, profitability and investment decisions across markets
Conversion & Customer Experience
- Own the CRO and experimentation strategy, using customer behaviour and data to identify opportunities across the end-to-end digital journey
- Partner with Product and Technology to prioritise improvements across Search, Navigation, PLP, PDP, Basket and Checkout based on commercial impact
International Growth
- Develop market specific strategies based on local customer behaviour, competitors, seasonality and commercial opportunities
- Identify opportunities to accelerate international growth while ensuring localisation creates a genuinely relevant customer proposition

Data, AI & Innovation
- Build a data led trading culture where reporting leads to clear decisions, actions and measurable commercial outcomes
- Drive practical adoption of AI and automation across analysis, forecasting, localisation, competitor intelligence and trading productivity
About You
- Significant ecommerce and digital trading experience within a fast paced consumer business, ideally fashion or retail
- Strong experience leading ecommerce trading teams and delivering significant commercial growth
- Good understanding of AI, automation and emerging ecommerce technology, with a practical mindset towards adoption
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate complex information into clear commercial decisions
- Comfortable operating in a high growth environment where priorities change quickly
- Confident operating with senior leadership and able to challenge constructively
