About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Trade will own the D2C commercial plan, driving revenue, contribution and trading performance across our clients high-growth, subscription-led ecommerce business.

Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal leadership role in translating strategy, customer insight and marketing calendar into a clear trading plan that delivers results.
  • Own the annual and quarterly trading strategy, forecasting, commercial calendar, promotions, product priorities and the daily rhythm of ecommerce performance.
  • Bring together marketing, CRM, product launches, stock, operations and customer insight to ensure they have one connected view of the commercial plan and the actions required to deliver it.
  • Lead onsite merchandising and CRO, partnering closely with UX, Product and Engineering to identify opportunities, prioritise experimentation and turn insight into measurable commercial impact.
  • Be equally comfortable setting the long-term strategy and getting into the detail of weekly performance, diagnosing revenue, conversion, AOV, margin, product mix, promotions and stock exposure.

  • Experienced ecommerce and trading leader with experience in D2C, subscription, retail or consumer brands.
  • Strong forecasting and commercial capability.
  • Deep knowledge of ecommerce, CRO, analytics, performance marketing and CRM.
