Location: Manchester or Stoke
Employment type: Full time
Salary: £60k-£75k per annum (depending on experience)
Job overview
As our new Head of Effectiveness you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring all our clients get maximum business impact from their work with us. This is a role for someone who relishes being at the commercial sharp end of marketing!
You’ll work as a partner to senior clients in developing marketing plans that clearly align with wider business objectives, making full use of the latest thinking across owned, earned and paid channels. You’ll then make sure these plans are delivered by our specialists for best possible ROI and award-winning work.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day figure in the agency for campaign effectiveness - ensuring all our work is aligned closely with our client’s commercial growth.
- Line manage and oversee the work of our strategy specialists to ensure this contributes to client growth, acting as a hands-on presence with clients where required.
- Key partner to senior client figures in marketing, revenue and commercial roles - providing clarity and direction on how we are adding commercial value.
- Ensure our strategy and GTM offer remains at the forefront of the industry, incorporating new technology and techniques where advantageous to do so.
- Key role in strategy aspect of pitching; forming part of core new business team.
- Work closely with Creative Director to align creative work with strategy and effectiveness.

Required experience
- Proven experience in a senior B2B marketing role with proven commercial exposure in a growth-led environment. This could be agency side or in-house.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering marketing activity that has led to commercial growth.
- Managing and developing teams.
- Management or oversight of digitally focused campaigns with lead and demand generation objectives.
- Management or oversight of multichannel campaigns that deliver both brand and demand objectives.
Skills and knowledge
- Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge of how marketing aligns with growth objectives.
- Able to influence senior commercial figures such as CEO, CRO, Sales Director or similar.
- Excellent understanding of how brand and demand tactics can best be used to meet short and longer term growth objectives.
- Full understanding of how agencies work and where they are of most value to clients.

- Experience in any of our core sectors: construction, tech, food manufacturing, engineering, professional services, advanced manufacturing.
