Our Client, a global alternative investment manager, is looking for an ambitious, experienced, employment counsel to take on the mandate of building Employment Legal across the firm's multi-national footprint. Headquartered in London, the firm has offices across EMEA, North America and APAC.
This is a high growth environment that would be an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy Employment counsel with a strong blend of contentious and non-contentious expertise.
Role:
- Own global employment mandate and work with CPO, CHRO and General Counsel to build a robust and resilient global employment legal framework
- Support peer stakeholders to build a best-in-class Employee Relations capability
- Support the General Counsel and other stakeholders with new market entry and potential M&A activities
- Be the go-to subject matter expert for strategic employment issues - both contentious and non-contentious

Requirements:

- c. 6-12 PQE - strong practice track record in a ranked employment team
- Good in-house exposure or experience - secondments or permanent roles
- Strong track record supporting Tier 1 Financial Services and Technology clients
- Strong understanding of UK and US employment legal regulations - other jurisdictions desirable
- A proven track record leading contentious employment processes (claimant responses, etc.) - highly desirable
- A strong interest in implementing legal technology and AI driven solutions
