Head of Employment Tax
Pure Search are partnered with a multinational business looking to hire a Head of Employment Tax in London.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the employment tax function for a US-headquartered multinational, setting strategy and providing oversight across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise senior leadership, HR, Payroll, Reward and Finance on employment tax matters, including compensation, benefits, equity, mobility and executive remuneration.
- Own global employment tax compliance, reporting and governance, ensuring obligations are met accurately and efficiently across relevant jurisdictions.
- Partner closely with Finance and controllership teams on US GAAP tax accounting, employment tax provisions, reporting and related disclosures.
- Oversee employment tax implications of business change, including acquisitions, restructurings, new market entry, workforce changes and reward initiatives.
- Lead international employment tax and mobility matters, managing cross-border employee arrangements and associated employer obligations.
- Manage relationships with external advisers and tax authorities, ensuring appropriate technical advice, risk management and resolution of complex employment tax issues.
- Develop a proactive employment tax risk and controls framework, monitoring legislative developments and driving process improvements across the organisation.

Requirements:
- Head of Employment Tax experience working in-house for a large multinational business
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified is desirable
- Team management experience is advantageous
- No visa sponsorship required
- Ability to travel into London 3 days a week

This is a full-time role, based in Central London 3 days per week, paying up to £150,000 + bonus.
