Head of Engineering
Remote | Full-time
We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering function and help build reliable, scalable products.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can make strong technical decisions, build great teams, and work closely with product and company leadership.
What you’ll do
- Own the overall engineering strategy and technical direction
- Lead architecture, development, testing, deployment, and infrastructure
- Build, manage, and mentor the engineering team
- Work closely with product, design, and leadership teams
- Turn product requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Establish strong engineering processes and development standards
- Review code and ensure quality, security, and reliability
- Identify technical risks and make appropriate trade-offs
- Improve development velocity and engineering productivity
- Help hire and build the engineering organization as the company grows

What we’re looking for
- Strong software engineering background
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable infrastructure
- Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable being hands-on when needed
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing engineers
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure and development tools
- Startup experience is a plus
- Experience building products from 0→1 is a plus
