Location: Site D - West Bromwich

About Us
Join 2Sisters Food Group, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, at our Site D site in West Bromwich. We are embarking on an exciting period of transformation and innovation, and we are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead this change and shape the future of our engineering operations.
The Role
As Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and implementing positive change across our Site D operations. This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking engineering leader to spearhead strategic initiatives that will modernise maintenance systems, enhance operational efficiency, and build a high-performing, motivated engineering team. You will oversee a team of 34 engineers and support staff, managing maintenance for a site processing 900,000 chickens per week. Your leadership will be critical in delivering transformational improvements that support our growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team through a period of significant change, championing innovation and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement cutting-edge maintenance strategies and technologies to optimise production efficiency
- Oversee and enhance Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to reduce downtime and increase reliability
- Drive the evolution and utilisation of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to improve maintenance planning and execution
- Collaborate closely with site management and operational stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with broader business goals
- Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence
What We're Looking For
- Senior Engineering Leadership experience within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on leadership style, adaptable to a 24/7 operational environment
- Commitment to long-term growth and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the site's future
