About Meshh

Meshh is a leading provider of spatial analytics for transient environments. Our platform transforms billions of wireless sensor observations into actionable insights for customers across more than 40 countries.

Our technology sits at the intersection of IoT, cloud data analytics, large-scale data engineering, and machine learning. We have built the next generation of our analytics platform, combining modern cloud infrastructure with advanced AI and data engineering to solve challenging real-world problems in visitor analytics.

The Role

Meshh is looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to lead the next phase of product innovation and growth. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for leading Meshh's research and engineering function. You'll shape our long-term technology strategy while ensuring that innovative ideas become reliable, scalable products used by customers worldwide.

You'll oversee engineering across our cloud platform, machine learning, data engineering, and sensor analytics, working closely with Product, Data Science, and Commercial teams to translate research into commercially successful solutions.

We're looking for a commercially-savvy engineering leader who still enjoys solving difficult technical problems, reviewing architecture, mentoring engineers, and occasionally contributing code or prototypes where it adds value.

This role also carries responsibility for engineering planning, budgeting, team development, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Define and execute Meshh's engineering and technology strategy.
  • Lead the research, design, and development of new analytics capabilities and AI-driven products.
  • Drive innovation in large-scale sensor data processing and new sensor integration for visitor analytics.
  • Evaluate and introduce new and emerging technologies that create competitive advantage.
  • Ensure research outcomes transition successfully into production systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
