Head of Engineering | Warrington/London | Up to £85,000 + Car Allowance

We are currently hiring a Head of Engineering to lead the Engineering & Maintenance team across a Healthcare LIFT/PPP portfolio, spanning sites in the north and south of the UK.

This is a senior leadership role reporting into the CEO, with responsibility for asset and property services across a suite of Hard FM contracts, ensuring statutory compliance, service delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction across a complex, multi-site healthcare estate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and developing the Engineering & Maintenance team across a multi-site healthcare estate
  • Overseeing statutory compliance, H&S, and technical audits across the portfolio
  • Managing CAFM-driven reporting, site inspections, and SLA/KPI performance
  • Holding delegated P&L accountability for budget lines across the portfolio
  • Leading on contract variations and minor works project delivery
  • Reporting into the CEO on performance, compliance, and Board-level updates

What you'll need:

  • Significant experience managing Hard FM services across complex, multi-site estates within a PPP/PFI environment, ideally healthcare
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services engineering, statutory compliance, and healthcare maintenance requirements, including HTMs and HBNs
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams, contractors, and multiple stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness, with experience of performance management, contract delivery, and budget accountability
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering discipline
