About The Role
Caister Academy are seeking an ambitious and inspirational English specialist to lead our English Department and help drive outstanding outcomes for our students. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to high standards, values collaboration, and is motivated by making a lasting difference to young people's lives.
You will bring enthusiasm, vision and a genuine love of English, inspiring students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication. As a leader, you will foster a positive and supportive team culture, champion high-quality teaching and learning, and play a key role in shaping the continued success of the academy.

About You
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven record as a teacher whose pupils reach high standards of learning and achievement
- Understanding of the social, emotional, and intellectual development of teenagers
- Ability to lead a team, effectively communicating a vision, in order to get the best out of staff and pupils
- Effective behaviour management strategies
