Overview of the Role

The Head of Enterprise Sales will lead Key Travel’s expansion into the SME sector and will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth for the company’s online booking system as a service across the UK SME sector. The role will play a pivotal part in strengthening the company’s market position by helping organisations modernise and streamline their business travel through innovative technology solutions.

The Head of Enterprise Sales will be accountable for delivering ambitious revenue targets, and building a predictable, high-quality sales pipeline. Translating the organisation’s commercial objectives into clearly defined enterprise sales strategies and execution plans, the role will focus on winning new customers, increasing platform adoption, and delivering sustainable long-term growth.

Through the leadership, coaching, and development of the UK Enterprise Sales team, this role will drive excellence across the entire sales lifecycle, from market engagement and opportunity creation through to contract negotiation and customer onboarding. The role will ensure prospects experience a seamless transition from sales to implementation, working closely with Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximise customer value and long-term retention.

The Head of Enterprise Sales will act as the voice of the customer within the business, leveraging market insights and client feedback to influence product strategy, platform enhancements, and commercial positioning. They will ensure that the company continues to deliver innovative, user-centric travel technology solutions that help SMEs improve traveller experience, increase policy compliance, gain visibility over travel spend, and drive operational efficiencies.


Essential Experience We Are Looking For

· Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably as a Head of Sales, Enterprise Sales Leader, Sales Director, or similar · Proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth and exceeding sales targets within a B2B SaaS, technology, travel technology, or business services environment · Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, including sales managers, account executives, and business development representatives · Demonstrated success selling complex solutions to SME and mid-market organisations through consultative and value-based sales methodologies · Strong experience managing enterprise sales cycles, including prospecting, solution selling, commercial negotiations, contract management, and closing strategic deals · Proven ability to build, manage, and accurately forecast a substantial sales pipeline, using CRM systems and data-driven decision making · Experience driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion · Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite and senior decision-makers · Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver commercial objectives · Commercially astute with experience developing go-to-market strategies, sales plans, pricing approaches, and market expansion initiatives · Experience in collaboration with and coaching others to continuously improve performance

It Would Be Advantageous If You Have the Following Experience

· Experience in a similar role within a travel management company · Good understanding of the travel tech landscape and how we use technology · Experience within business travel, travel management, fintech, or other related SaaS sectors · Experience selling travel technology platforms, online booking tools, or corporate travel solutions to SMEs · Knowledge of the UK business travel market, SME buying behaviours, and corporate travel procurement processes · Experience working across cultures and with remote teams

Location

Hybrid – this role involves travel to networking events, travel shows and clients. Applicants should be able to commute to either our Manchester or London office once a week.
