Head of Enterprise Sales
Our client is a leading, global Travel Management Company who are now looking for a Head of Enterprise Sales to lead their expansion into the SME sector.
Working in close partnership with the Executive Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth for the company's online booking system as a service across the UK SME sector. The role will play a pivotal part in strengthening the company's market position by helping organisations modernise and streamline their business travel through innovative technology solutions.
They will be accountable for delivering ambitious revenue targets, and building a predictable, high-quality sales pipeline. Translating the organisation's commercial objectives into clearly defined enterprise sales strategies and execution plans, the role will focus on winning new customers, increasing platform adoption, and delivering sustainable long-term growth.
The role will also contribute to the wider business strategy by collaborating with commercial and product teams across the organisation, sharing best practices and supporting the development of scalable sales methodologies, customer acquisition programmes, strategic partnerships, and new market opportunities.
The successful candidate will combine strong enterprise sales leadership with a deep understanding of SaaS business models, customer value realisation, and the technology-driven transformation of corporate travel.
In return, our client can offer a salary of £80k – 100k, plus 25% OTC and excellent benefits.
Please note - one day per week will be required in either our client's London or Manchester office.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing the UK enterprise sales strategy to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and market expansion within the SME travel sector
- Owning and delivering sales targets, revenue objectives, and pipeline goals, ensuring consistent performance against quarterly and annual growth plans.
- Building, leading and coaching a high-performing Enterprise Sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Driving new business acquisition by identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic SME and mid-market customers through a consultative sales approach.
- Overseeing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through to contract negotiation, close, and handover to Customer Success and Implementation teams.
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management, providing regular performance reporting and commercial insights to senior leadership.
- Partnering with Marketing to develop and execute effective demand generation and lead nurturing programmes that support pipeline growth and market penetration.
- Developing and implementing sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics that improve conversion rates, sales productivity, and forecast accuracy.
- Leading commercial negotiations and ensure all proposals, contracts, and pricing structures align with company objectives and customer needs.
- Supporting the development of strategic partnerships, referral networks, and channel relationships to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Ensuring the sales organisation operates effectively within agreed budgets while optimising resource allocation and return on investment
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader within the business travel and SaaS sectors.
- Providing regular insight and recommendations to the Executive Team on market opportunities, commercial performance, and strategic growth initiatives.

Skills Required
- Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably as a Head of Sales, Enterprise Sales Leader, Sales Director, or similar – experience within a TMC would be an advantage
- Proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth and exceeding sales targets within a B2B SaaS, technology, travel technology, or business services environment
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, including sales managers, account executives, and business development representatives
- Demonstrated success selling complex solutions to SME and mid-market organisations through consultative and value-based sales methodologies
- Strong experience managing enterprise sales cycles, including prospecting, solution selling, commercial negotiations, contract management, and closing strategic deals
- Proven ability to build, manage, and accurately forecast a substantial sales pipeline, using CRM systems and data-driven decision making
- Experience driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite and senior decision-makers
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver commercial objectives
- Commercially astute with experience developing go-to-market strategies, sales plans, pricing approaches, and market expansion initiatives
- Experience in collaboration with and coaching others to continuously improve performance
