Role/Team overview
The Head of Enterprise Solutions Delivery (Director of PMO) leads the programme management function responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex Connectivity, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.
This is a customer-facing leadership role accountable for the governance, delivery, and overall success of high-value programmes often spanning 1,000–2,000 customer locations. The post holder ensures excellence in delivery execution through robust PMO frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external technology partners.
The PMO operates as a self-funded function, requiring commercial awareness and collaboration with Sales and Pre-Sales to ensure cost recovery and active contribution to new business growth.

- High customer satisfaction and delivery NPS.
- Establishment of scalable PMO frameworks and standards.
- Achievement of cost recovery and financial performance targets.

What you’ll do
Programme Leadership
- Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of large-scale B2B deployment programmes for Connectivity, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Provide executive-level assurance and reporting to senior customer and partner stakeholders.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and performance to achieve on-time, on-budget programme outcomes.
- Act as a senior point of escalation and resolution for customer delivery issues.
- Maintain strong engagement with Comcast and other technology partners to ensure successful SD-WAN integration.
PMO & Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of five Project Managers, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all customer programmes.
- Define and embed PMO governance frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure clear ownership of delivery milestones, financials, and customer outcomes.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Provisioning Enablement, Engineering, and Pre-Sales teams to align delivery capabilities and resourcing.
- Collaborate with Sales on proposals, solution shaping, and customer presentations where delivery confidence is a key differentiator.
- Work closely with the Director of Sky Business Operations and Customer Group and senior leadership to align programme performance with business objectives.

Commercial & Strategic Accountability
- Operate the PMO as a self-funded function through effective cost control, project pricing, and resource utilisation.
- Contribute to business growth by supporting sales bids and identifying opportunities for service enhancement.
- Provide visibility and insights on delivery performance, risks, and improvement initiatives to leadership teams.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
- Extensive experience leading complex, multi-site B2B customer delivery programmes within telecoms or network services.
- Proven track record managing enterprise programmes involving Connectivity, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing teams of Project Managers or Programme Leads.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence operating at senior and executive levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage commercial and operational performance within cost-recovered or P&L-accountable functions.
- Excellent planning, governance, and risk management capability.
- Experience establishing or maturing PMO functions within a scaling or transforming business.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience partnering with major network vendors or carriers (e.g., Comcast, Cisco).
- Recognised project/programme management certification (PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, or equivalent).

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
