The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
The Head of ERP Solutions owns the global ERP platform (Microsoft Dynamics 365), its functional standards, and solution delivery across all regions. The role drives the strategy to extend D365 globally rather than adopt separate regional ERPs, translating finance, supply chain, and operational demand into consistent, well-governed solutions on a common platform. This role is accountable for the global ERP roadmap and for the functional design and delivery behind it, working in close partnership with regional IT leadership, who own the Managing Director relationship and regional demand, and with the CTO organisation, which owns the underlying architecture, integration, and engineering standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Own the global ERP platform (D365) and its roadmap, setting functional standards and driving the strategy to extend D365 to new regions rather than adopt separate ERPs.
- Lead the functional design and delivery of ERP solutions, translating business requirements into solution blueprints in partnership with CTO architecture, and overseeing configuration, build, testing, and release.
- Drive the consolidation of regional ERP instances onto the global D365 platform, sequencing rollouts to protect business continuity.
- Define ERP business data requirements with the functional lead and analysts, and partner with CTO data engineering, which builds the pipelines and data models to that specification.
- Lead and develop the global ERP team and hold accountability for global ERP technology cost (capex and opex, run and change).
- Partner with regional IT leadership, the CTO organisation, and finance, supply chain, and operations stakeholders to prioritise the ERP roadmap and ensure timely, high-quality delivery and adoption.
- Uphold engineering, security, and integration standards set by the CTO, ensuring ERP solutions are built and integrated consistently and sustainably.
The Perfect Blend: What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience leading ERP solutions at scale, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, in a multi-region or multi-subsidiary environment.
- Strong functional knowledge of ERP across finance, supply chain, and operations, and how the modules integrate.
- Proven experience delivering multi-region ERP rollouts or consolidations onto a single global platform.
- Track record of turning business demand into solution design and delivering through a functional lead, BAs, and partners.
- Commercial and budget acumen, including accountability for a global cost base across run and change.
- Experience partnering with architecture, integration, and engineering functions to defined standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing at senior business and MD level across cultures.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience; D365 or ERP certifications are an advantage.
