Head of ERP and IT Transformation
DD Group are looking for an experienced Head of ERP and IT Transformation to lead the technology delivery. Reporting directly to our Group Chief Operating Officer, this is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for delivering our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP programme alongside a wider portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives across the Group. You will work across our UK and European businesses, bringing together technology, operations, processes and people to create a more standardised, scalable and efficient operating model.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a complex, multi-country transformation programme with significant commercial impact. You will lead our ERP delivery, warehouse and automation strategy and key pre-ERP workstreams, while establishing robust programme governance and ensuring that transformation delivers measurable and sustainable business benefits.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the technology delivery of DD Group's strategic transformation portfolio across the UK and Europe.
- Take overall ownership of the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP across the Group.
- Lead the delivery of the Group's warehouse, automation and associated technology strategy, including WMS, WCS and automation integrations.
- Deliver the three strategic pre-ERP workstreams covering Data & Governance, Risk Mitigation and EBITDA initiatives.
- Lead the design and implementation of the Group Operating Model, ensuring technology and business processes support our future ambitions.
- Drive the standardisation and optimisation of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across Group companies.
- Establish and lead the Group PMO, creating effective programme governance, controls, reporting and delivery disciplines.
- Manage external implementation partners and systems integrators, ensuring strong commercial management and accountability for delivery.
- Take ownership of programme budgets, milestones, risks, dependencies and executive reporting.
- Lead testing, cutover, deployment, hypercare and the successful transition of new solutions into business-as-usual operations.
- Establish and track benefits realisation, identifying and addressing areas where delivery or value creation is at risk.
- Build and lead a high-performing delivery capability, including Delivery Managers, Business Analysts and QA resources.
- Work closely with Executive and senior stakeholders across the Group to drive engagement, decision-making and successful business adoption.
- Ensure transformation programmes are delivered on time and within budget, complementing the ERP programme and supporting DD Group's wider strategic ambitions.

About You
We are looking for an accomplished transformation leader who combines strategic thinking with disciplined programme delivery and a strong commercial mindset.
You will ideally bring:
- 10+ years' experience leading complex, enterprise-scale business and technology transformation programmes.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering at least one end-to-end Tier 1 ERP implementation, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience of ERP programmes involving WMS, warehouse automation and WCS integrations.
- Experience leading multi-country transformation programmes and working across different business units and geographies.
- Experience managing programmes with budgets in excess of £5m and leading external systems integrators and implementation partners.
- Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience designing and implementing operating models and standardising business processes.
- Strong expertise in programme governance, PMO leadership, programme controls, testing, cutover, deployment and benefits realisation.
- Excellent Executive and Board-level stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, with the ability to connect technology investment with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience within distribution, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or another regulated environment would be highly desirable.
- Experience working within a private equity-backed organisation or delivering measurable EBITDA improvement programmes would be advantageous.
- A collaborative and resilient leadership style, with the ability to bring teams and stakeholders with you through significant organisational change.
- A highly organised, analytical and delivery-focused approach, with the confidence to intervene and take action when programmes move off track.

A degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or a related discipline is preferred. Programme management qualifications such as MSP Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent would also be beneficial. Agile, Lean Six Sigma and Change Management qualifications are desirable.
