About the Role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced estates or operations professional to lead a busy operations team and play a key role in shaping the future of a thriving independent school.
Working closely with the Head, you will have strategic responsibility for all aspects of estates and operational management, including facilities, cleaning, health and safety, security, transport, grounds, and commercial lettings. You will ensure that our pupils, staff, and visitors benefit from a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment while helping to drive continuous improvement across the School.
This is a highly varied and rewarding leadership position, combining day-to-day operational oversight with exciting long-term projects, including estate development and refurbishment initiatives. You will lead a dedicated team, manage significant budgets, oversee compliance and health and safety, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the School community.

- Substantial estates, facilities, or operations management experience.

About the School

Position Details
- Fixed-term position.
- Start date as soon as possible, although a January 2027 start can also be accommodated.
- The contract will run until the end of the academic year on 31 August 2027, with the potential for the role to become permanent thereafter.
