The Location: Support office – London based. (Venue based when required)

The Role:
The Head of Event Sales is a crucial leadership role within Events by Benugo, responsible for driving group-wide sales performance and maximising event revenue across the portfolio. This includes private dining, celebrations, corporate events, exclusive venue hires, and growing the brand's external catering operations.
Leading the Event Sales team, the role is accountable for developing and delivering a robust sales strategy that supports business growth while ensuring exceptional client experiences. Working in close partnership with venue and operational teams, the Head of Event Sales ensures that every event is professionally managed from enquiry through to delivery.

The role is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, event agencies, and organisers, identifying new business opportunities while expanding existing partnerships. You will also implement efficient sales processes to drive conversion and the performance of the sales teams. The position requires a commercial mindset and hands-on engagement.
Requirements:
- Passionate about identifying new revenue streams.
- Proven success in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the events, catering, or luxury experience sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to secure high-value contracts and develop long-term client partnerships.
- Data-driven and commercially focused, with the ability to analyse sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, winning new business, and growing revenues across multiple venues and service offerings.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, venue finders, and key industry stakeholders to drive repeat and incremental business.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop high-impact sales strategies, and convert opportunities into profitable business.
- Inspirational leader with a proven ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams, creating a culture of growth, accountability, and results.
- Collaborative approach, with experience working closely alongside marketing teams to develop campaigns, generate leads, and maximise conversion opportunities.
- Experience operating in a highly competitive environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach to business development, market expansion, and revenue generation.
