Everyman Driving Experiences | Nationwide UK Travel
Full-time | Senior Management | UK-wide travel
Do you know what good looks like?
Can you walk into a live event at 7am, spot what's wrong within five minutes, take charge of the team and have everything fixed before the first customer arrives?
Have you spent enough time in automotive and live events to know that things will go wrong — and, more importantly, know exactly what to do when they do?
If so, we want to hear from you.
Everyman Driving Experiences is looking for an exceptional Head of Events to take complete ownership of our nationwide events operation.
This is not a desk-based event-planning role.
We want someone who can own the operation.
Someone who understands cars, customers, people and commercial realities. Someone who has seen pretty much everything before and has the experience, confidence and personality to deal with whatever the day throws at them.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring our events across the UK are delivered to an exceptional standard.
You'll make sure:
- Events are fully prepared before customers arrive.
- Cars are clean, presented perfectly and ready to go.
- Venues, equipment, staff and suppliers are properly organised.
- Events run safely, smoothly and on time.
- Customers receive an exceptional experience.
- Standards are consistent across every venue.
- Problems are identified early and fixed quickly.
- Freelance teams are properly trained, briefed and managed.
- Operational costs are controlled and commercially sensible decisions are made.
- Lessons are learned and the operation continually improves.

You'll be managing large numbers of freelance staff and building a consistent standard of delivery across our nationwide event network.
When Things Go Wrong
This is probably the most important part of the job.
- Cars break.
- Staff don't turn up.
- Weather changes.
- Suppliers let you down.
- Venues have problems.
- Customers have unexpected requirements.
That's live events.
We don't need someone who reports the problem.
We need someone who fixes it.
You need to be calm under pressure, decisive, resourceful and comfortable making decisions without having to ask someone else what to do.
We want a problem solver, not a problem reporter.
Automotive Experience Is Essential
You must have significant experience within the automotive industry, ideally combined with substantial experience of large-scale live events.
Experience in areas such as motorsport, track days, driving experiences, automotive events or similar environments would be highly relevant.
You need to understand cars and have an instinct for what good looks like.
You'll be responsible for ensuring vehicles are prepared, presented and ready well before customers arrive — and for making sure standards are maintained across the country.

Nationwide Travel
Travel is a major part of this role.
Everyman operates events across the UK, from Scotland to the South West and everywhere in between.
There will be early starts, weekends, long days and overnight stays.
You need to enjoy being on the road and be excited by travelling to different venues and events.
If regular UK travel isn't for you, this isn't the role for you.
