Head of Events & Experiences

£70,000 – £90,000 + benefits
Fully Remote | Flexible working | UK & International travel

This is not a conventional events role.

We’re recruiting a Head of Events & Experiences to join a fast-growing, entrepreneur-led business that is building an exclusive community for successful founders and business owners.

The events side of the business is moving from one major flagship experience each year to a full year-round calendar, including private dinners, masterclasses with high-profile speakers, luxury international experiences, a black-tie awards event and flagship overseas experiences.

The events programme is already operating at an exceptional level. The next flagship experience is being hosted on a private island, with a number of internationally recognised entrepreneurs and business speakers. Tickets were priced at £30,000 per person and sold out within two weeks.

They are now looking for someone senior to come into the business and take complete ownership of the events function.

The role

You will work directly with the founder and take responsibility for the full events calendar and budget.

This will include:

  • Owning the full annual events calendar and associated budgets
  • Identifying, negotiating and contracting venues
  • Sourcing and managing high-profile speakers
  • Working directly with speaker bureaus and specialist suppliers
  • Managing the wider supplier network
  • Taking responsibility for the successful delivery of each event
  • Being present at events, hosting and running the room
  • Ensuring every detail is delivered to an exceptional standard
  • Managing post-event follow-up
  • Making sure key moments and opportunities are captured for content
  • Helping shape and develop the future events offering

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The successful person will also have the opportunity to build a team underneath them, with plans already in place to recruit an Events Coordinator to support guest logistics.

Who we’re looking for

We want to speak with someone who has already operated at a genuinely high level within premium events.

You may currently work within:

  • Luxury hospitality
  • A private members’ club
  • A high-end events or experiential agency
  • A premium or luxury brand
  • A family office
  • An entrepreneurial or founder-led business

More important than the sector is the level at which you have operated.

You should have experience of:

  • Owning a year-round calendar of premium events
  • Taking responsibility for significant event budgets
  • Contracting venues, speakers and suppliers directly
  • Working with high-profile speakers and guests
  • Delivering five-star experiences
  • Managing multiple events and priorities at once
  • Remaining calm and decisive when things change quickly
  • Operating with discretion and professionalism

This is not a coordination role.

We are looking for someone who has owned the calendar, controlled the budget and made the decisions themselves, rather than simply delivering somebody else’s plan.

Why join?

This is an opportunity to join at a point of significant growth and take real ownership of an increasingly international events programme.

You will have the autonomy to shape how the function develops, work directly with the founder and build the team around you as the programme expands.

The 2027 calendar is being contracted now, meaning the successful person will join early enough to influence it from the outset rather than inherit something that has already been decided.

For someone who wants autonomy, variety and the chance to create genuinely exceptional experiences for an influential audience, this is a rare opportunity.
