HEAD OF EVENT DELIVERY
Salary – Circa £50,000 (Potential flex) + 8k+ Bonus
Full-time | remote | UK based (Some International Travel)
My client delivers world-class conferences and exhibitions serving the Enterprise technology space. Rapidly growing, they are now seeking a commercial Head of Events, an exceptional operational leader who can help scale their event portfolios, improve efficiency, drive profitability, and build best-in-class delivery processes.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead the delivery of the global event portfolio, ensuring every event is delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard. You will:
- Lead flagship events from planning through onsite delivery
- Coach and develop an event delivery team
- Manage supplier and venue strategy
- Improve operational processes and scalability
- Introduce automation and AI-driven efficiencies
- Drive resource planning across the portfolio
- Work closely with Product, Client Success, and Systems teams
- Build the operational foundations needed to support future growth

You'll likely have experience in:
- Event operations leadership
- Conference production and delivery
- Portfolio event management
- Operational management
- Project or programme leadership
You'll also bring:
- Strong experience managing complex B2B events
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills
- Proven people management experience
- Supplier negotiation and commercial management expertise
- Strong financial and budget management capability
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
