HEAD OF SALES & EVENTS

Luxury Event Catering | Hybrid Working | Guildford
£50,000–£55,000 + Bonus

We are working with an exceptional high-end event catering business known for delivering creative, beautifully executed events across London and the Home Counties.

Working with premium brands, prestigious venues, and high-value private and corporate clients, the business has built a strong reputation for exceptional food, outstanding service, and genuinely memorable events.

They are now looking for an experienced Head of Sales & Events to play a key role in the next stage of their growth.

THE ROLE

This is a genuinely dual-focused senior position, split approximately 50/50 between sales & business development and event planning.

On the commercial side:

  • You will be responsible for driving new business, developing existing relationships, building a strong pipeline, and converting high-value briefs and tenders into confirmed events.

On the operational side:

  • You will take ownership of the planning and pre-event delivery of events, ensuring every detail is captured, coordinated, and ready for the operational team.

This is not an event-day management role. You will attend key events for set-up and final checks before handing over to the operational team, while remaining involved in the client relationship and post-event follow-up.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
